Etienne Flat-bottom (1390 - 1442) known as Hire. Born in 1390 with Castéra-Flat-bottom, it adopts the Dauphin Charles as of the beginning of the wars, in 1418 and uniting with Poton de Xaintrailles. When on April 22nd, 1429, Jeanne d' Arc leaves Blois for Orleans, Hire, old thirty-nine years, follows it. Jeanne did one of her very first captains of them. When Jeanne was taken with Compiegne by the Bourguignons on May 23rd 1430, then sold with English who brought it to Rouen, Hire did not hesitate to try the takeover by force to carry the city. It is while trying to quérir helps that it was betrayed by the Burgundian ones and taken. After the death of Jeanne, it continued the fight for its king: winner with Gerbevoy in 1435, countryside of Normandy with Dunois in 1438. Captain-general of Normandy, lord of Montmorillon and lord of the manor of Longueville. In Montauban on January 11th 1442 died, at the time of the countryside of Guyenne. English had called it " Hire-Dieu" (will go-Dei: the anger of God), whereas French gave his name to a figure of the Card deck: of Heart. Its tomb is with [[Montmorillon]
