Casino of Charlevoix
History:
Inaugurated on June 24th, 1994, the Casino of Charlevoix was arranged in the old theater of summer of the Richelieu Manor, on cliff of Point-with-Peak, a panoramic site attended since more than one century by the holiday makers.
In 1998, Lotto-Quebec joins the company the Canadian Pacific and the Solidarity funds FTQ to acquire of the Manor Richelieu (Fairmont the Richelieu Manor), to renovate it and increase the Casino of Charlevoix. With its reopening in 1999, the complex constitutes a holiday resort of international gauge. The Casino of Charlevoix becomes thus the first casino with being twinned with an hotel establishment.
