Cash Asmussen

Cash Asmussen , born the March 15th 1962 with Agar with the South Dakota, (the United States) is a jockey étasunien.

Born Brian Keith Asmussen , it legally changes first name into 1977 and becomes Cash Asmussen. It is resulting from a family of stockbreeders of horses of the Texas, his parents having a breeding with El Paso. His/her brother, Steve Asmussen, is him also implied in the horse world since he is trainer of racehorses.

Cash Asmussen gains its first great victory in 1979 when it gains the Beldame Stakes. It gains this year the Award Eclipse as a better apprentice-jockey.

In 1981, it gains the Coaching Club American Oaks with the the United States, then flies away for the Japan where it takes down the Japan Cup.

In 1982, it gains Washington, D.C., International (a race which does not exist any more since 1994), then its first Turf Classic Invitational Stakes. From there, it flies away for the France and signs a contract of first goes up for the stable of Stávros Niárchos. That enables him to run to France, but also in Great Britain where it collects nice successes. It also carries out returns on the American continent to enrich its prize list.

Thanks to its many victories in France, it receives the Cravache of gold to 4 recoveries between 1985 and 1990, and if it is not rewarded in 1987, it is quite simply because it runs all this season in Ireland. It gains its greater victory in 1991 with Suave Dancer in the Prix of the Triumphal arch.

It takes its retirement in 2001, with more than 3.000 victories to its credit.
