The Caisse of the scientific research is an old institution of financing of French research. It was created by the law of July 14th, 1901.

This institution was intended to finance the equipment of the research laboratories.

The Case of the scientific research was gathered with the National bank of sciences on October 30th, 1935 to create the National bank of the scientific research.
