Shawn Crawford is an American athlete born the January 14th 1978 with Van Wyck in South Carolina.
In 2001 it gains the championships of the world indoor of 200 meters.
After two poor seasons, Shawn Crawford becomes Olympic champion on the 200 meters with the Jeux of Athens in 2004. It also finishes in the 4th place of the 100 meters (with a time of 9" 89/100e) and gains the money medal of the relay 4 X 100m with the team of the the United States.
