Carton (horse-drawn)
The carton was a horse-drawn car similar to the cut: two wheels, two places side by side inside. An ice closed the front part. Berlingot was the name of the cut about 1667, it was called also Carrosse - half-compartment or Diligence.
There also existed at the XVIIIe century a carton which offered only one place inside: one called it for that a désobligeante .
