Situation

The door of Vincennes corresponds to a space located at the limit of the 12 {{E}} and 20 {{E}} districts. It is roughly speaking delimited in the west by the Rue of the Pyrenees and l´ Avenue of the Doctor-Arnold-Netter, in the east by the Boulevard Davout and the Boulevard Soult, and crossed by the Cours of Vincennes.

The door of Vincennes is one of the principal Parisian doors towards the east and leads to the communes of Saint-Mandé and Vincennes

Life of the district

The door of Vincennes accommodates one of the largest Parisian markets which is held Wednesdays and Saturdays morning on the Cours of Vincennes. It is also the places of two important colleges of the Parisian east: One can also find the Saint-Gabriel church, built in the years 1920 and held by the fathers since then of the Congrégation of the Crown-Hearts.
