Carry Valencians (subway inhabitant of Lille)

The station Porte of Valencians is a station of the line 2 of the subway inhabitant of Lille.

Situation

This station owes its name with the fact that it is located close to the old site of the Door of Valencians, disappeared at the time of the destruction of the ramparts of the city. It serves the hospital Saint Vincent of Paul.

Station built on two levels, profiting from only one access:
  • level of surface: entry, access elevator, sale and composting of the tickets
  • air level: center lanes and opposite quays

Description

One can admire there the work of the sculptor César entitled the Hand .
