Carpet of Esfahan

After the invasion by the Afghans, the craft industry of the carpet is almost abandoned. The carpets are again manufactured starting from the beginning of the 20th century and quickly find their prestige thanks to the paperboards of the ostad (“main”) to which the craftsmen remain very faithful.
