Carnot-Marceau

The district Carnot-Marceau is a district of Limoges. It draws its name from its 2 principal places:

  • the place Marceau ( Marceu in Occitan), place of the market of Saturday.
  • the place Carnot, one of the principal crossroads limougeauds.

Situation

The district is spread out Marceau place on both sides, between the street of Chinchauvaud ( read Chinchauveu tsĩtsoˈvœ in Occitan), which connects the Gare of the Benedictines to the avenue of the Leclerc General, and this same avenue.
