Carnegie Institution
The Carnegie Institution of Washington is a foundation of founded Recherche in 1902 by Andrew Carnegie. Its six research orientations are: Botanical, Biology of the development, ecology, Geology and Planetology, Astronomy.
The institute also supported archaeological projects in the Péninsule of Yucatán (Fouille S of Chichén Itzá and Copán) of the Années 1910 with the Années 1930 under the direction of the mayanist Sylvanus Morley.
