Carmine

Carmin is a generic term for a Couleur dark Rouge.
This name is often used for descriptions of blood.
In certain systems, this color is regarded as tertiary Couleur, like mixes of a primary color, the Magenta , and of a secondary color, the orange red (magenta + Jaune).
Etymology
- Identical to that of crimson (see description in this article).
