Carmélide
Maël- Carhaix, in Brittany, would be the country named Carmélide in the novels arthuriens.
This is related to the fact that the surrounding country consists of Collines, into Gallic * metl-bone (> at the origin of the name of *Medle/*Mezle), like with the Roman aqueduct which starts from St Symphorien/Brécillen (true the historical Brocéliande of the Legend), as a Paule, to lead to Carhaix (Carohaise of the Legend).
