Carlsbourg (in Walloon Calsbour ) is a section of the common Belgian of Paliseul located in Walloon region in the Province of Luxembourg.

It was a commune with whole share before the fusion of the communes of 1977.

Until August 10th, 1757, Carlsbourg was a dependence of Paliseul which bore the name of “Saussure” within the framework of its membership to the Duché of Bubble Its name current was given to him by Charles Godefroy of the Tower, sovereign duke of Bubble.

It is important complex of agricultural schools to which Albin-Georges Terrien, great writer of the Ardenne, referred in its book Glèbe .
