Carlsberg

Carlsberg is a brewery company Danish. It belongs to most important in the world, and is present in nearly 60 countries. The head office is with Valby, Copenhagen. The principal beer of the company is Carlsberg, but the group brews also Tuborg, as well as many local beers. The company was founded in 1847 by Jacob Christian Jacobsen and counted his/her son, the Mécène Carl Jacobsen within his board of directors.

By absorbing the Norwegian group Orkla ASA in January 2001, Carlsberg became the fifth world brewer, and employs some 31.000 people now. In 2003 Carlsberg possession of the Swiss brewer Feldschlösschen Boissons SA takes.
