Carlos de Candamo
Carlos Gonzalez de Candamo is a Peruvian player of Rugby to XV, having achieved its career in France, at the station of center three-quarter in the Parisian team of the Racing club of France whereas it was still student.
Peruvian captain of the 1 team champion of France in 1892 (also vice-champion in 1893), this wire of the ambassador of the Peru in France was 7 years later one of the members of the Olympic team of fencing of Peru to the Olympic Games of 1900 with Paris (with the foil and the sword). He was later named member of CIO by the baron Pierre de Coubertin in 1903, as a second American southern member of the committee to be sat, station which he occupied until in 1922 for his country.
His/her two brothers were also of the rugbystic adventure, Gaspar Gonzalez de Candamo like center three-quarter at the sides of Carlos in 1892 assuming successfully the first kick of transformation finally of championship and thus giving the victory to its team; Gonzalo Gonzalez de Candamo playing as for him like half of opening - always to the sides of Carlos in 1893.
