Carlos Huneeus

Carlos Huneeus Madge is an academic Chile in, director of the Center of studies of contemporary reality with Santiago of Chile, professor of the institute of political sciences of the catholic university of Chile and professor of the institute of international relations of the university of Chile.

Carlos Huneeus Madge is graduate university of Chile, doctor of political sciences of the university of Essex.

During its long career, he taught at the university of His in Italy and with the Université of Columbia.

He also publishes many articles of political sciences and constitutional laws in various international reviews like the " Newspaper off Latin American Studies" , " German Politics" , " Revista Italiana di Scienza Politica", " Revista Española de Investigaciones Sociológicas" and the " Revista de Estudios Políticos".

Its book on the military regime of Augusto Pinochet, published in 2000, made authority in the Hispanic world. It in particular described there two existing perceptions of the Pinochet mode, namely a negative identity related to the systematic violation of the Human rights and a positive identity related to the economic model néo-liberal.
