Carlos Ferrero Costa (born in 1941) is a Peruvian political personality . It was Prime Minister of Peru from December 15th, 2003 to August 15th, 2005. He is member of the party PerĂș Posible.
Member of the party of the president Alberto Fujimori, it joined the opposition after being fallen in disgrace near this one. In 2000, after the resignation of Fujimori, it is beaten with the election for the presidency of the Congress against ValentĂn Paniagua Corazao. He is elected president of the Congress thereafter in 2001 until his nomination with the head of the government.
Appointed Prime Minister by the president Alejandro Toledo in December 2003, he abruptly resigns on August 11th, 2005 when Toledo names Fernando Olivera, Foreign Minister and in favor of a legalization of the culture of the Coca. He is replaced with the head of the government by Pedro Pablo Kuczynski.
