Carlo Perini

Carlo Perini is a Médecin and a Italian Naturaliste , born the February 6th 1817 with Thirty and dead the December 29th 1883 in this same city.

After studies with Thirty, it leaves to study the Médecine with Padoue where it follows the courses of Giuseppe Giovanni Antonio Meneghini (1811-1889) which transmits to him its passion for the Natural history and the Botanique in particular. It is graduate of medicine in 1843, in Chirurgie in 1844 and Obstétrique in 1844. Of return in its native area, he works near orphanage of various cities.

Incited by his brother Agostino Perini (1802-1878), naturalist, it gives up the exercise of medicine to devote itself to the natural history. It is interested particularly in the Flore of Italy of north. With his brother, it founds a printing works with Thirty. But, following the publication by this one of the official journal of the Austrian government, it must close this company in 1856. It is devoted then to journalism and collaborates in various newspapers and patriotic periodicals. It makes appear a book on the history of Thirty.
