Carlo Coccioli
Carlo Coccioli (May 15th 1920 with Leghorn - August 5th 2003 with Mexico City) was a writer Italy N which resided since the the Fifties at the Mexico.
Biography
Carlo Coccioli follows his/her father officer in Libya (Tripoli and Cyrénaïque). To Benghazi, it passes the essence of its childhood and its adolescence. He studies then in Italy, with Fiume (current the Rijeka) until the beginning of the Second world war where he takes refuge in Toscane with his mother and then has to fight. After the September 8th 1943, it takes part in the first cores of resistant of the Apennin tosco-émilien. Captured by the Germans, he escapes from the prison of Bologna. This episode is worth a medal of recognition to him, the finished war. In the immediate future post-war period, it is graduate in Eastern Languages and Literatures (Hebrew and Arab) near the Eastern Institut of Naples.
Its first literary experiments go back to this period. They continue with the publication of the novel Fabrizio Lupo (1952) with Paris.
Carlo Coccioli settles with the Mexico in 1953. It publishes first once there its principal books whose David (1976) with which it obtains in Italy the Prix Strega. Among its books of the Sixties, it is more known Documento 127 under its Spanish title which is retained for its route of conversion to the Judaïsme (" He incontrado el Diós de Israël").
He usually wrote in three languages: Italian, French and Spanish (and it was translated itself).
Since 1997, it lived with Cuernavaca with his/her single Javiér son, by preserving his address at Mexico City: Obrero Mundial n° 165, Colonia del Valle - 03100 Mexico City D.F.
