Carlo Bononi

Carlo Bononi (or Bonone ) (1569 - 1630) is a painter of the Italian Classicisme of the finishing school of Ferrare.

He studied under Giuseppe Mazzuoli, said the Bastarolo , knew Guerchin and was encensé by Guido Reni, travelled for his studies with Bologna, Modena, Rome, Parma, Vérone and Venice.

With died its Master it approaches Scarsellino, the most notorious painter of Ferrare.

Alfonso Rivarola ( it Chenda ), Giovanni Battista della Torre, and Camillo Berlinghieri were of its pupils and its nephew Leonello Bononi was also a painter.

He is buried in Santa Maria in Vado, for which he had helped to decorate the ceiling with various fabrics.
