Carlo Archinto
Carlo Archinto , count de Tainate (born the July 30th 1669 with Milan - died the December 17th 1732) was noble a Italy N of the end of XVII {{E}} and beginning of the 18th century, enthusiast of culture, which was a patron through the cultural institutions that it founded, to support supported sciences and the fine arts.
Biography
August 1st Heir to a rich person family of Milanese bankers and land great landowner, Carlo Archinto founded in 1702 with Milan a Académie, the Accademia dei Cavalieri , which embraced in its work sciences and the fine arts. He is also in the beginning, a few years later, of the palatine Société ( Società Palatina ), rich person friendly lords association of the letters (among them Filippo Argelati, Donato Silva, Carlo Pertusati, Alessandro Teodoro Trivulzio,…), which met in its palate of via Olmetto and made print with their expenses several important works.It was made Grand of Spain and knight of the Golden Fleece.
