Karl (Carl) Alexander Anselm Freiherr von Hügel (Baron Charles von Hügel; April 23rd 1795 - June 2nd 1870) was an officer of the Austrian army, diplomatic, Botaniste and explorer. He is known today for his voyages in the north of the India in the Années 1830. At its time, it was celebrated in Europe for its botanical garden and the introduction in Europe of Plante S and flowers of Australia.
