Carl Fredrik Adler , Doctor and Naturalist Swedish, born in 1720 and deceased with broad of Java, in 1761.
Adler studies with the Université of Uppsala and meets there Carl von Linné in front of which it supports a thesis on the bioluminescence entitled Noctiluca Marina , the June 9th 1752.
Between 1748 and 1761, Adler takes part like surgeon of edge in at least four voyages of the Swedish Compagnie of the Eastern Indies and brings back from there samples of fauna and flora. It remains in particular in India and China, between 1753 and 1756, and dies in broad of Java, in 1761.
