Caribert Ier (v. 521 - Paris, 567), king de Paris of 561 with 567.
Biography
He is the son of Clotaire I {{er}} and of his first wife Ingonde.
Clotaire I {{er}} had reunified the frank kingdom of Clovis I {{er}} with sorrow. With its death, the kingdom was again divided between its 4 sons.

In 558, it organizes a forwarding against the rebellion of his brother Chramne.

He marries Ingeberge of which he has two children. He forsakes it then to marry the two girls of a craftsman of the royal workshop: Méroflège and Marcovège. It is excommunicated by the bishop Germain of Paris at the time of its fourth marriage with a named nun Thibilde.
In 566, it names its nephew by alliance Bertrand bishop of Bordeaux and Marie her daughter Berthe with the king Aethelberth de Kent.
He dies on March 5th, 567 in Paris. With its death, in spite of four wives, it leaves only girls. His/her three brothers will dispute his heritage bitterly.
