Carentoir

Carentoir is a common French, located in the department of the Morbihan and the area Brittany.

The name Breton of the commune is Karantoer .

Its inhabitants is called Carentoriens and Carentoriennes' .

Geography

Apart from the septentrional quarter, the basement of the commune consists of Schiste S Briovériens. Since North, follow one another a granitic band, a band of Armorican Grès, then of the formation of Bridge-Réan , the extreme North-East pertaining to the formation of Traveusot (siltstones). The ground is in this part of an agricultural value lower than in the schistous part where it is overall excellent .
