Career of Saint-Pierre-Eagle
The career of Saint-Pierre-Eagle is located between Villers-Cotterets and Soissons, in the department of Aisne, in Picardy, France. It is a career of rock hard Calcaire and half-hard fine rock. The exploitation is with open sky. It started in 1850. The stone of Saint-Pierre-Eagle was used amongst other things with construction of the Château as Pierrefonds.
