Cardiology

The cardiology is the medical speciality which studies the Cœur and its diseases. The Médecin which is occupied some calls the cardiologist . By extension, it is also interested in the vascular problems.

  • Coronarographiste which practices the coronarography making it possible to visualize the coronary arteries,
  • Angioplasticien which will dilate the sick coronary arteries using a balloon, introduced by arterial way,
  • electrophysiologist which analyzes the electric phenomena of the heart by introduction of probes into the cardiac cavities.
  • Stimuliste which poses pacemakers or plantable défibrillateurs.

The invasive Cardiologie consists in exploring the heart by introducing probes directly into the cardiac cavities. These probes are assembled through the skin by the venous or arterial network. The interventionnelle Cardiologie consists in treating the cardiac diseases by the methods of the invasive cardiology .
