Carbon cabernet

The cabernet carbon is a Cépage tank German of black grapes.

Origin and geographical distribution

The type of vine is obtaining Norbert Becker in the institute Staatliches Weinbauinstitut Freiburg with Freiburg-in-Brisgau. The type of vine is authorized in many Länder in Germany.

The merzling is a hybrid with parentages of Vitis will vinifera, Vitis rupestris and Vitis aestivalis.
