Carbini

Carbini is a common French, located in the department of the Corse-du-Sud and the Corsica area .

Carbini is located at the south-east of Levie and the west of the cascade of Piscia di Gallo.

the church Romance San Giovanni, of style pisan and dated from XIIe century, was regarded by Prosper Mérimée as oldest of Corsica.

It is in fact a small church with simple nave and the elegant proportions. External decoration comprises a continuous plank of small Arcature S with Modillon S. the separated bell-tower, said Campanile, was rebuilt at the XIXe century. Between the two buildings the vestiges of the church paléo-Christian woman remain.
