Carbini

Carbini is a common French, located in the department of the Corse-du-Sud and the Corsica area .

Carbini is located at the south-east of Levie and the west of the cascade of Piscia di Gallo.

  • the church Romance San Giovanni, of style pisan and dated from XIIe century, was regarded by Prosper Mérimée as oldest of Corsica.

It is in fact a small church with simple nave and the elegant proportions. External decoration comprises a continuous plank of small Arcature S with Modillon S. the separated bell-tower, said Campanile, was rebuilt at the XIXe century. Between the two buildings the vestiges of the church paléo-Christian woman remain.
