The Caravanier (practitioner of the caravanning) moves more often than differently of Camping in Camping. But, especially in North America (the United States and Canada), several caravaneers stop in the rest areas devoted to the truck-drivers or make Boondocking in the parkings of stores at large surface. Wal-Mart is famous for its reception of the Caravaniers on almost the whole of its parking spaces.

Organization

This leisure (or lifestyle) is relatively organized and good number of practitioners gathered of federations. The French federation of camp-site and caravanning and the Québécois Federation of camp-site and caravanning are two examples of regional federations which ensure the regrouping of practitioners.
