Caquelon
The caquelon is a kind of terra cotta pan or out of cast iron, equipped with a handle, in which prepares then serves the Fondue.
The word is especially employed in French-speaking Switzerland and in the area Francoprovençal E. This word is a term of French-speaking Switzerland (18th century), derived from a loan to the German-speaking Switzerland Kakel " pan of terre".
