Captain Commando
Captain Commando is the old mascot of Capcom, its name being composed of the two syllables of the name of the company ( Cape silvering COM mando).
Captain Commando is the héro play Section Z , left on Borne arcade in 1985, although its appearance was then very different from that under which thereafter it will become known.
It is also employed in the handbooks of Capcom plays on Nintendo Entertainment System at the end of the Eighties, in which it congratulates the player for his purchase.
A Beat them all bearing sound name leaves in 1991 on CPS-1, and will be adapted in 1995 on Super Nintendo. The play not obtaining a very great success, Captain Commando is replaced thereafter as a representative of Capcom by more popular characters like Megaman or the heroes of Street Fighter II .
It is nevertheless of return in 1998 in the series of plays of combat Marvel vs. Capcom . Lastly, he is again requested in 2005 in the RPG Namco X Capcom on PlayStation 2.
