Capoulet-and-Junac
Capoulet-and-Junac are a common French, located in the department of the Ariège and the area the Midday-Pyrenees. Its inhabitants is called Canacéens.
Geography
History
Common exit of the meeting in 1852 of two independent communes: Junac (Ugenac) village whose foundation goes up around the year millet. Its church dedicated to Saint Julien was used as place of burial to the lords of the baronnie of Miglos.Capoulet (capolegio) the first known human occupation is that of Hospital of Jean Saint. First quotation 1064. The development of the industry of iron sees the development of the village. Depending in the past on the diocese of Niaux, a church is built in the years 1850 dedicated to Saint Panthaléon. This saint was the guard of the vault of the Hospital ones.
