Capitulary Of partibus Saxoniae
Law promulgated in 782 by the Emperor Charlemagne, during the wars against the Saxon , ordering that the pagan ones are converted with the christianime or are killed, the capitulary of partibus Saxonie was at the origin of the wars of Charlemagne into Germanic, and of the end of paganism in Western Europe.

To support the text, an expeditious court of justice is installed in Westphalia. The death sentences are given sometimes on simple denunciation, that the defendant is present or not.
In 797, Charlemagne founds new a capitulary Saxon , more lenient than the precedent. The capital punishment against the pagan ones there is abolished and commuted to fines. The disorders gradually cease towards 799.
