Cape Mendocino

The Cape Mendocino , located in the county of Humboldt, in California, the United States, is the point more in the west of the Californian coast. It is one of the most active areas at the seismic level of all the 48 contiguous states of the country. Three important seisms whose epicentres were located near the Cape took place, one of them reaching 7 on the scale of Richter.
