Capdrot (in Occitan Cape Dròt ) is a common French of less 1  000 inhabitants located in the department of the the Dordogne and the Aquitanian area .

In 1991, at the same time as the common neighbors of Monpazier and Biron, the commune of Capdrot was registered, on the initiative of the ministry for Town and country planning and the Environment, in an operation “ Grand national site ”, within the framework of a policy of durable management of the inheritance related to local development, in order to preserve and to emphasize its architectural and urban heritage single.

Geography

With deaf the Bonnefond locality the source of Dropt; affluent, of a hundred km, R.D of the Garonne. The Forest of Capdrot, very largely dismembered, nowadays is deteriorated by various implants of coniferous tree.
