The canton of Saint-Paul-3 is a French administrative division , located in the department and the area of the Réunion.

The canton of Saint-Paul-3 is limited to a common :
Saint-Paul (fraction of commune).

In 2005, 13.599 voters were registered there.

History

Without label but near of the left, François Lea asserted himself on the first turn the March 28th 2004 by carrying it of 46 votes on Gilbert Mardenalom, first assistant of the mayor of Saint-Paul Alain Bénard. The results of this vote were consequently disputed and the election finally cancelled by the Council of State.

The November 6th 2005, Gilbert Mardenalom carries it with the second turn on the candidate of the Alliance Emmanuel Séraphin with 62,0% of the voices.
