Description
Canton with prédominace rural, located at 12 km in the west of the agglomeration of Annecy, with an industrial small town Rumilly.
The canton is structured around the valley of Fier and the valley of the Chéran with:
- in the east, the basin of the agglomeration annecian,
- in the south, country of the Albanian.
- in the west the Mountain of Large Foug, important dorsal barring the access to the valley of the the Rhone, on 18 km of length and 4 to 5 km broad, altitude from 500 to 1057 Mr.
