Canton of Puiseaux
The canton of Puiseaux is a French administrative division , located in the department of the Loiret and the area Center.
The canton of Puiseaux was attached, since 1800 (an VIII), with the District of Pithiviers. The recutting of the districts intervened in 1926 removed this district and attached 2 of its cantons, of which the canton of Puiseaux, with the Arrondissement of Montargis . The new cutting of 1942 recreated the district of Pithiviers in the state where it was before 1926.

- Orville : 110 inhabitants;
- Puiseaux : 3.045 inhabitants.

There have is plétore candidates right-wing, the left adds up hardly more than 12%, it thus had ballotage.

Mr. Christian Blumenfeld, mayor of Puiseaux, was thus elected general adviser of the canton, at the time of a duel pointing out that of the French presidential election of May 5th, 2002
