Canton of Orleans-North-West

Old the canton of Orleans-North-West was a French administrative division department of the Loiret.

The recutting of the districts intervened in 1926 did not have affected the canton of Orleans-North-West, attached since 1800 (year VIII) to the Arrondissement of Orleans.

The canton of Orleans-North-West in the beginning had borne the name of canton of Orleans 4th , but the date of the change of denomination is not known.

The canton of Orleans-North-West was removed at the time of a recutting of the cantons whose date is not known, but most probably since 1946. It is certain that it depended on the district of Orleans after the recutting of the districts intervened in 1942 and this until its suppression.
