Canton of Gien
The canton of Gien is a French administrative division department of the Loiret.
The canton of Gien was attached, since 1800 (an VIII), with old the District of Gien . The recutting of the districts intervened in 1926 removed this district and attached 3 of its cantons, of which the canton of Gien, with the Arrondissement of Montargis. The new cutting of 1942 did not modify this fastening.

- the Winch-on-Plaster filling (in the past named the Winch );

- Poilly-lez-Gien (in the past named Poilly );
- the Saint-Brisson-on-Loire (in the past named Saint-Brisson );
- Saint-Gondon;
- Saint-Martin-on-Ocher.
