Canton renewed in 2001, renewable in 2008.

Since the beginning of 2003, the nine communes of the canton of Borough-St-Andéol were constituted, with the contiguous commune Viviers, in community of communes under name " From the Rhone to the Throats of Ardèche". The president is max Career (former mayor of St-Just of Ardeche, former president of local SIVOM).
