The canton of Avallon is a French administrative division department of the Yonne.
The recutting of the districts intervened in 1926 has or does not have affected canton D.

The Canton is mainly on the right by the number of communes (with Avallon share, all the communes have UMP Mayors). Jean Mariani, 1st Assistant PS with the Mayor of Avallon is also General adviser.
