The Argovie (in German ) is a Swiss Canton. It is the large Swiss industrial canton.

History

Geography

Argovie is an important crossroads between the other cantons of Switzerland. This canton is crossed by the East-West and North-South highways. It is an undulating territory by many hills, with one population density very important (approximately 400 hab/km).

The capital of this canton is Aarau.
