The Canon history of the Netherlands is a list of 50 topics which for summarizing the Histoire Netherlands. The committee Van Oostrom gathered in this list the 50 topics which should be in the courses of history of the elementary schools in the Netherlands. The 50 topics were selected according to fourteen principal bonds.

The October 16th 2006, the gun was given by the committee to the Minister for teaching, the culture and sciences, Maria van der Hoeven. A second version is given the July 3rd 2007 to the joined together government and Dutch Parliament.
