Canon DEFA 30mm

The air gun 552 of 30 mm manufactured by DEFA as from 1953 armed the principal fighters with the French Air force since this date. Its system of electric setting of fire functions thanks to the D.C. current of negative edge 24/28 V to the mass.

AMD used the gun of 30 mm much on its fighter plans: Dassault Hurricane, Dassault Mystery, Mirage III/V, Dassault Standard, Dassault Super Standard, Mirage F1, SEPECAT Jaguar, and Mirage 2000. It also armed SO.4050 Vautour.
