Candanchú
Candanchú is a ski station located in the the Aragonese Pyrenees (Spain), on the commune of Aísa, in the Comarque of Jacetania (Huesca). In 2005 it counted 110 inhabitants.
Description
The ski station of Candanchú is located in the Aragonese Pyrenees, close to the source of the Aragon and to 2 km of the Col of Somport, border with the France. It is close to the station of Astún and with a few 28 km of Jaca, center important of in love with the practice of the ski.
Services
The station offers all the traditional services: ski-lifts of a capacity of 21.300 skiers/hour, infirmary, school of ski, as well as a school for the monitors. One finds also various possibilities of restoration, hiring of material, nursery, etc
