Cancon
Cancon is a common French, located in the department of Lot-et-Garonne and the area Aquitaine.
Geography
Commune located on the Trunk road 21 between Castillonnès and Villeneuve-sur-Lot
It enorgueillit to be itself the capital of the Hazel nut.

- oldest is undoubtedly the Château of which it does not remain that the base of a tower and other walls removed from the vegetation which pushed there with the beginning of the year 2000. It is located at the top of the hill where the village is flanked and one has a point of view there on the dwellings and the surrounding countryside.
- One of the places of the village is occupied by a market built out of metal at the 19th century.
- Non far from there is the War memorial the recent wars having affected the local population: the first and the second world war as well as conflicts in North Africa.

Events
In September 2003, Cancon accommodates a meeting of the altermondialists organized by Jose Bove simultaneously with the top of the World Trade organization of Cancún.
