CanalSat the Caribbean

CanalSat the Caribbean , launched the 8/1/1998, initially under the name of CANALSATELLITE the CARIBBEAN , is the bouquet of Satellite television CANALSAT especially built for the the Antilles and the Guyana. It is held at 100% by the group Canal Overseas and uses, for its diffusion, as from the 10/15/07, the satellite Intelsat 903 (Western 34,5°).

For regulatory and legal reasons, Canalsat the Caribbean does not have the right to integrate the offer of the Canal+ chains into its bouquet. The two companies must have a policy of completely independent marketing.

Of Intelsat 801 to 903

The range of satellite channels CanalSat the Caribbean changes satellite to allow the arrival of new chains and the High-definition (HD). With the satellite assistance of the operator of Intelsat, Arqiva proposed to migrate the bouquet on another satellite, Intelsat 903 with Western 34,5° which has the equivalent of 11 repeaters for each of the 2 Faisceaux in Ku band. The two companies thus signed an new agreement of several years for the diffusion of programs on the area of the the Caribbean. The double diffusion of the bouquet is designed to last until October 15th, 2007, date on which CanalSat the Caribbean will stop its diffusion on Intelsat 801.

Canalsat the Caribbean by the ADSL

Canalsat the Caribbean by the ADSL, it is + of 72 chains of the sat, but by the ADSL (according to the maximum flow accepted by your phone line) in numerical quality. The main operator who will propose Canalsat the Caribbean by the ADSL in January 2008, with for name Mediaserv.

TNTSat

TNTsat is a range of channels free which will be launched by CanalSat the Caribbean. It will count 10 television channels and 3 radios. Launching will take place on January 15th, 2008, according to Dominique Fagot (President de Canal Overseas and of CanalSat the Caribbean).

CanalSat the Caribbean HD

CanalSat the Caribbean HD, will begin in January, with 5 chains, of which 13th Street HD, Disney Cinemagic HD, M6 HD, TF1 HD, etc….
